About the Author

David Finkelstein has been publishing reviews of experimental film since 2002. He has been teaching improvisation technique for actors, dancers, and musicians since 1997, when he was an Artist-in-Residence at Movement Research in New York. As a filmmaker, he has created 28 shorts and two feature films since 2000. His films have been screened all over the world, winning 28 awards. He is a Guggenheim Fellow in film/video.
